When you give something away, you experience great karmic gain, since you have thereby not only helped another person, but also freed yourself from attachment to that object. A man who is seeking for realization is not only going round searching for his spectacles without realizing that they are on his nose all the time, but also were he not actually looking through them he would not be able to see what he is looking for! - Ask the Awakened by Wei Wu Wei Ambition and anger will disappear when you stop concerning yourself with the fruit of your actions. - Buddha It is important to recognize the power of our emotions--and to take responsibility for them by creating a light and positive atmosphere around ourselves. This attitude of joy that we create helps alleviate states of hopelessness, loneliness, and despair.
