Overview

How I got started

Well! I`m not new to the motorcycle, quad scene. Growing up in California I had the street bike and would race the canyons and ride the popular three wheelers.  In 2005 I really got serious in off road racing.  I began with the OMRA series in Washington.  Then I saw the WORCS series and it looked to be interesting.  I started  racing the WORCS Series with my motorcycle.   I slowly moved into the quad scene in 2006 and mixed it up a bit with the motorcycle racing.  In 2005/2006 I did well on the motorcycle.  In 2006 I saw I was a quad person and my end results were great.  So here I am now continuing with my training and attending as many races as time allows.  The 2008 season was great and Im looking forward to the 2009 season.

Goals for the Future

I finished the 2005/2006 with fairly good results.  The 2007 season was great.  In 2008, I placed 2nd overall in the OMRA Series.  My goals are to stay healthy, train and practice hard and focus on being a better person.  I would like to see myself in the top five in each class I race for the various series.  My goal is to attend all WORCS, OMRA  rounds.  I will try and attend some of the Best in the Desert Series.  I will continue to improve and advance to the next level.  My last goal is to go out and have fun and meet new people, support the series, and my sponsors.  Without my sponsors, racing would be difficult without their support.

Bio

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am a young 45 year old.  I`m like a kid.  Hey if Dowd, Larocco, Eichner , Gust (to name a few) can do it, so can I. Racing just brings out the fun in you.  A quote I read, "Racing to stay young". At 6'4" I feel I am above the average height for racers.  I do my best. I started racing seriously in 2005, starting with the WORCS series on my motorcycle and moved onto the quad. I currently have a great career, home and family.   In 2005 I placed 21st in points for my class on the motorcycle.  In 2006 I did very well on the quad. In 2007 I placed 2nd overall in points with the WORCS series in Stock C.  In the USDR Series I placed  5th overall in Open quad and 2nd over all in Open quad-Beg.  In 2008 I saw 2nd place overall in my class.   I will spend time moutain biking, running, and just trying to stay healthy.

Describe your style...

My style! Hmmm.... I keep it safe and within my limits.  I know if you go over your limits you make mistakes and you get hurt.

Music?

I`m into all types. It just depends on my mood. I guess you will hear me listening to Hair nation, Metal, Old School Rap.  I like the fast beat, it gets the adrenaline going.

Why do you compete?

I compete to prove to myself that I can do it. I enjoy the rush. I enjoy meeting and hanging with everyone at the races. Everyone helps each other with no problem. I compete to learn and advance and gain experience. I don`t expect to be number one. I go out to challenge myself and have fun.

How's Life Treating You?

Life is treating me great. I`m set in my career. I have a great family that is supportive and attends majority of my races.  The racing is going good. Without my sponsors the racing would be a difficult. They have been great. Overall life is going well.

Competitive Highlights

My highlights!  In 2005 I raced the WORCS  motorcycle series.
