Synopsis:
A highly ranked junior on the European circuit, Lacomare has been enjoying increased success on the international scene of late. An excellent showing at the Oakley Global Challenge in Bali last October thrust him into the upper echelon of competitive juniors, where he has remained ever since.
Variables:
Like a lot of European surfers, he may find it difficult to turn competitive results into full mainstream appreciation in the U.S.
Forecast:
Continually adding experience to an already solid competitive résumé, Marc Lacomare is a name you’ll likely see more and more of on the pro junior circuit. This should translate well into WQS success, and a ’CT berth may not be out the question at some point in the future.
