Variables: Making a name for one’s self in Hawaii’s next-generation lineups is tougher than it’s ever been. Seems these days everybody has the balls to pull in and the ability to boost. Separating himself from the rest is going to be Chas’s biggest challenge.
Forecast: One of the most solid, respected North Shore surfers in his age class. He’ll continue to be a staple in winter surf.
