How I got started

My brother and sister used to go surfing, and we always went camping at the beach. I got started when I was like 9, but I started taking it seriously about 2 years ago.

Goals for the Future

Hopefully to compete in more events. A bunch of my buddies and I are trying to get a team started at our school since our old principal terminated the old team. That would give me a lot more events.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I play water polo so I practice a lot and it keeps me in shape for surfing. I`m always always at the beach surfing too. Before school, after school, whenever I have time to make the 20 min. drive.

Music?

I love a lot of music. I could pretty much be content listening to almost anything ( NO COLDPLAY). I love Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Jack Johnson, The Gorillaz, and a local band called Diego Roots.

How's Life Treating You?

Pretty good. I have a lot of friends that love to surf with me. Not to mention a bunch of lady friends that I love to hang out with.

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

I love to travel. My budies and I go down to Baja and stay at K-38`s. We went down one time and the surf was all crapped out everywhere. We took a drive down to Salsi`s and caught it 8 ft. and ALL to ourselves. One of the best sessions ever.

Schools Attended

I moved around a lot when I was younger. I went to La Jolla Country Day, Miramar Ranch, Canyon View, then Turtleback. That`s when we settled in Rancho Bernardo. I`ve gone to Bernardo Heights Middle School and I`m going to Rancho Bernardo High School.
