Overview

How I got started

My brother decided to race so I decided to race with him.

Goals for the Future

For 2009 I hope to do more racing than last year as I will have more weekends off from work. My racing goals are to win the overall +25 Junior or Intermediate (depending on how my pre-season training and riding go) class for this season by focusing on fitness, intensity and technique.

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

My whole family goes to the races and I love to spend time with them and be around other friends at the races also.

Some Personal Information About Me:

Out of race season, I also hunt, waterski, play racquetball, work a lot, and of course enjoy spending time with family.

Describe your style...

Smooth, conservative and smart like Kevin Windham.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I like to go to the gym on the week days and run on the treadmill for about 20 minutes (about 1 and 1/2 miles) three or four times a week depending on my work schedule and play some racquetball when time permits also, then ride on Saturday.

Why do you compete?

I`m a very competitive person. I like the intensity of competition, rivalries and good sportsmanship. It drives me to be better at the sport and better as a person in general.

Competitive Highlights

I hadn't been able to race much until 2005 so I started out racing three races in the beginner class, then I won my fourth race,so I moved up to the open junior class and got 2nd. Then by my last race of the year I got 1st place in the open junior class.
