I started surfing at age 12 and I have been hooked on it ever since. I started on a shortboard but, after a year of shortboarding I started to longboard. My future plans are to travel to japan to compete in the Japan Professional Surfing Association (JPSA). Also I am planning to start entering ASP events.

 Hi, my name is Genki Kino. I am 18 and I am a freshman at University of Hawaii Manoa. I have a gpa of 3.8 and I compete in many  longboard contests in Hawaii. I am currently sponsored by Fa Nine clothing, Oakley, World Force Wetsuits, Red Sea Ocean Adventures, Drift Surf Hawaii, and Island Fin Designs. I have dual citizenship therefore I could market your company in Hawaii, as well as Japan. My plan for the future is to compete in more profesional events and to do the JPSA Tour. My goal is to become a JPSA Champion and to win a World Title.

2 time local-Motion surf into summer champion (30& under), 2005 Haleiwa international open champion (18-29), 2005 Noseriding champion, 4th place @ Macy`s E-series @ Kewalos (Pro-am), Hawaii State Champion (Open, Junior men), 4th place @ China's Pro Invitational, 3rd place at the Unofficial Longboard Championship (Pro). 3rd place @ China's Pro Invitational, 2nd place Steinlager series event #4 @ Bowls. 1st place at JPSA event #3 @ Tsujido, 2nd place JPSA Event # 4 @ Ibaragi, =5th place JPSA event #5 @ Taito, 2007 JPSA Rookie of the year.
