It can’t be easy being the son of a luminary like Matt Archbold, but young Ford seems to be getting along just fine. He’s fallen in with a tight and talented rat pack in Newport, including performers like Andrew Doheney and stylists like Alex Knost, while at the same time feasting on a steady diet of travel. Winters in Hawaii, summers in Bali, trips to Japan thrown in for good measure, by the time Ford was old enough to drive a Chevy he’d already accrued more passport stamps than most people twice his age. But deep down, like his dad, he’s a California original, and the regular-footer’s bound to be a staple in the Golden State for years to come.

How'd you get the name "Ford"?
I guess my dad liked Ford cars a lot so he thought it would be sick to name his son after them. If you ask me it’s pretty weird, but I like it. I’m stoked on my name.

Barack or Hillary?
I really don’t care…yeah, I really don’t care too much about either of them.

Bikinis or thongs?
Uhhh…thongs for sure. What kind of a question is that? Who’s gonna say bikinis if thongs is an option?
Blondes or brunettes? I like both, but I guess it’s good to mix it up.

If you had to lose a limb, arm or leg?
Arm for sure. Losing an arm would be way sicker. That way you can still surf and it looks tough. Definitely an arm.

Home school or regular school?
Home school, for sure. Who wants to sit in a room all day? I don’t…I definitely don’t. Not for me.
Will Ferrell or Ben Stiller? Will Ferrell any day.

2pac or Biggy?
Pac’s my homie…so, yeah…2pac for sure.

War or peace?
Peace, but I think it’s impossible.

If you had to do one, would you rather stand-up paddle or sponge?
I would pick anything over sponging, so stand-up paddle guaranteed.

Hawaii or Cali?
California, it’s way more fun with way more chicks but of course Hawaii has better waves, so it’s kind of up and up and I guess.
