You’ve got a lot going for you, what do you think your biggest advantage is when it comes to surfing?
To me, my family is an advantage, but not for the reasons you’d think. More than anything, they’re a great support system. My dad and Mason have been everywhere and share their experiences so I can learn from them.

Do you feel like there are some heavy expectations on you because of that?
I think some people expect big things from me because of my family, but it’s really more on Mason because he’s a guy. I think people expect less because I’m a girl.

Is there life outside of surfing?
There are lots of things I love to do other than surfing. I’m really into tennis right now, but for the longest time I really just wanted to be a pediatrician and help kids.
