Mike Dunphy has been building a solid resume via results in ESA and NSSA comps for a few years now. His most recent: a finals appearance in the 07 ESA Championships. But besides regularly facing off against the very best young surfers along his home coast, Dunphy’s also tasted the heavier sides of the surf world, kicking off for locales like Indo and doing time in Hawaii during the past few seasons. Recently added to the 2008 USA Surf Team roster, Dunphy should continue to broaden his skill set and the talent pool he pits himself against.
