On the land, Kyle’s a soft-spoken and good-natured kid, but put a singlet on him and blow a heat horn and the kid becomes a competitive animal. Freakishly talented, his lighting-fast surfing has drawn comparisons to the 2007 world champion, Mick Fanning. An extremely well-rounded surfer, Kyle can punt with the best of them, throw the tail, and lay it on the rail when the conditions call for it. Although a bit lanky, we expect Kyle to continue to improve as he grows into his body.
