The biggest little thing to come out of the Big Island since Shane Dorian in In God’s Hands, what Lahiki Minaminshin lacks in mass, he more than makes up for in ambition. Coached by Christian Budroe, and already a NSSA Hawaii State Champ, Lahiki is following the precedent set by the likes of Tonino Benson, Torrey Meister, and Casey Brown.  Growing up in Kona, Lahiki’s more than familiar with the Banyon’s scene, which suits the regularfooter’s fins-out-the-back approach just fine.
