Okay, so it's been a bit since I have posted a blog here, but then again, I haven't been racing much since then. Until recently that is!

I finally got out to Fontana to race the Winter series on my MTB! I haven't raced a MTB since 2002, and I have never raced 4X until now. I have made the finals in the first three races I have ever entered. It wasn't easy either, but it sure was fun!

Unfortunately, I started the series too late to be eligible for an overall series award, but i made the most of teh races I did hit.

Thanks again to those who've cheered and jeered at the course!

So....

I went to Vegas this past weekend to race the ABA Southwest National. I decided to race my 20" bike for the first time in 5 years. I had a learning experience! I had too hard of a gear, the wrong tires and too little practice on the track. I am changing tires, gearing and going to work on the riding time. I am starting to think about racing the twenty from here on out. I am debating about my earlier plan of going to the NBL Grands this season. It`s getting closer and the budget is getting tighter. If I don`t go to the NBL Grands, I will be going to the Reno ABA National. If I go to Reno, I will probably race the twenty again. Cruiser is fun and all, but I seem to have more fun on the twenty. Fun is what it`s about for me, so we`ll see. I`m getting alot of encouragement about my Twenty riding lately, so I`m leaning towards that.

We`ll see......

Well, after racing two national weekends in the last five weeks, it`s off to Vegas for the Nellis race. It should be fun, hopefully I won`t break my toe like last year! After this, there is a break on the national level, then Prunedale in May.

I am looking forward to the break, but happy to race this weekend.
